Read a warranty by what it excludes
“Movement failure only” is doing more work than it looks. It excludes the bracelet and clasp, which are the parts that actually wear. It excludes the crown and stem, which are what fail on a watch worn daily. It excludes case finish, crystal and bezel action.
In practice, the faults most likely to bring you back to a seller are the ones a movement-only warranty does not touch.
Then read it by who pays
A warranty where you pay postage in both directions has a real cost attached to using it. On an international parcel that cost can approach the value of the repair, which is how a technically valid claim quietly becomes not worth making.
Where the market sits
Most sellers here state 75 to 90 days. A large number publish nothing at all, which is worse than a short term because there is nothing to hold them to. Against that background 6 months is not scandalous, it is simply thin.
